Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut arrested by ED

Sanjay Raut, the leader of the Shiv Sena, is detained by the ED in connection with a land fraud case.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has reportedly been detained for “non-cooperation,” with the ED stating that “unaccounted cash was seized,” according to reports.

Sanjay Raut’s brother asserted that the Shiv Sena MP’s arrest was an attempt by the BJP to quiet his voice because the saffron party is “afraid” shortly after Sanjay Raut was detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) late on Sunday night over allegations of “non-cooperation”.

He further said that the cash the Shiv Sena utilised for the Ayodhya tour was among the funds collected by the ED from Raut’s home.
