Dinesh Karthik’s IPL 22 heroics gets him back in the Indian side

In the IPL 2022 thus far, Karthik has 284 runs at 57.4 and a strike rate of 191.33 in 14 innings.
Karthik hammered eight-ball 30 runs in the match against SRH, including 22 from IPL debutant Fazalhaq Farooqi in the last four balls of the innings.

Karthik was recalled to India’s team for the forthcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, which will be played at home.
