West Bengal’s new governor is C V Ananda Bose.
According to a statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan, C V Ananda Bose was named the Governor of West Bengal on Thursday.
It said that his appointment will become effective on the day he assumed control of his position.
The announcement read, “The President of India is pleased to designate Dr. C V Ananda Bose as the regular Governor of West Bengal.”
La Ganesan, the governor of Manipur, has been in charge of West Bengal since July.
