STF Kolkata & STF Bihar joint raid busted arms factory

Today (04/04/23) a joint raid was conducted by STF, Kolkata Police and STF, Patna Bihar and one illegal improvised firearms (Pistol) manufacturing unit was unearthed operating inside the house of Dinesh Sah @ Sethji (57 yrs) s/o Madho Sah situated at Kaswa Road, Vill+P.O: Warsabad, PS Sambhuganj, Dist: Banka, Bihar.

During search, the following items were recovered and seized from the said unit.

1.) 11 Pcs of Semifinshed Improvised firearms (pistol).

2.) 01 PC of improvised 7.65 mm Pistol.

3). 09 pcs of live cartridges (7.65mm).

4). 20 pcs of Pistol Barrels.

5). 04 pcs of Pistol Butts.

6). 03pcs of Pistol Springs.

7). Machineries like
one cutting machine,
one Milling machine,
one lathe machine,
one grinding machine
and other tools and machineries used for manufacturing those improvised firearms.

Accordingly, four male skilled workers and one lady, as mentioned below, were arrested from the spot while the house owner Dinesh Sah @ Sethji is still absconding.

3.) Md.Anwar @ Sukhkho(35),
S/O- Md.Alauddin,
Vill- Gulzar Pokhar
Abdul Hamid Chowk,
PS- Kotwali,
Munger, Bihar.

4.) Md.Faisel(25),
S/O- Md.Sahadat,
Vill- Hazratganjbara,
PO- Balanbazar,
PS- Kashimbazar,
Munger, Bihar.

5). Manju Devi(48),
W/O- Dinesh sah @ Sethji,
Vill+PO- Warshabad,
PS- Sambhuganj,
Dist- Banka, Bihar.

Hence, the detainee accused persons will be arrested and prosecuted under Indian Penal Code and Arms Act at Sambhuganj PS , District Banka , Bihar maintaining all legal formalities and will be produced before the Ld. CJM , Banka, Bihar tomorrow 05/04/23 during court hours
