Indian athletes Bajrang, Sakshi, and Deepak win gold
On August 5, 6 wrestlers won medals.
On the first day of competition at the Commonwealth Games 2022, six wrestlers from India competed, and all six of them took home gold.
Olympic medalists Sakshi Malik, Deepak Punia, and Bajrang Punia all took home gold, while Anshu Malik took home silver.
Indian wrestlers continued to rule the Commonwealth Games with bronze medals from Divya Kakran and Mohit Grewal.
On Saturday, the second and last day of the wrestling competition in Birmingham, four wrestlers, including Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Ravi Kumar Dahiya and Vinesh Phogat, will compete.
