Pieter Elbers has been named CEO of IndiGo

On Wednesday, the InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) Board of Directors selected Pieter Elbers as Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approvals.

On September 30, 2022, Ronojoy Dutta, the Chief Executive Officer of low-cost carrier IndiGo, will step down.
According to a press announcement issued by the corporation on Wednesday, Pieter Elbers has been named as Dutta’s replacement.

“Subject to regulatory approvals, the Board of Directors of InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) chooses Pieter Elbers (52) as Chief Executive Officer.”
On or before October 1, 2022, he will join IndiGo.

Mr Ronojoy Dutta (71) has decided to step down on September 30th.
