Popular Actor Vikram Gokhale Dies At 77

Vikram Gokhale, a renowned actor and thespian, passed away on Saturday afternoon in Pune at the age of 77. “We regret to inform you that Mr. Vikram Gokhale, a renowned actor, passed away today at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital as a result of multiple organ failure. Our sincere sympathies, “the official statement from the hospital. The actor was receiving life support after spending some time in the hospital. The remains of Vikram Gokhale will be kept at Bal Gandharva Sabagruha so that loved ones can pay their respects. On Saturday at 6 o’clock in Pune’s Vaikunth Crematorium, the actor’s final rites will be performed.

In 1971, Vikram Gokhale made his movie debut in Parwana, starring Amitabh Bachchan. He was honoured in 2010 with the National Award for Best Actor.
