Mithali Raj, one of India’s all-time great cricketers, Retires

In her retirement statement, the former India captain expressed her desire to be involved with the sport.

Mithali declared her retirement from cricket in a message on Twitter just hours before the Indian women’s team was picked for the T20I and ODI trip of Sri Lanka.

“I began out on the quest to wear the India blues as a little kid because serving your country is the biggest honor.”Mithali remarked, “The journey was full of highs and lows.” “Each experience taught me something new, and the last 23 years have been the most rewarding, difficult, and pleasurable of my life.”
This voyage, like all others, must end. “Today is the last day of my international cricket career.”
